The Gülpınar Wind Power Plant (WPP) project was officially presented to the public within the scope of the 2024 Renewable Energy Investment Projects Collective Inauguration Ceremony. This significant event was honored by the presence of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and attended by our Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Mr. Alparslan Bayraktar.
During the inauguration ceremony, the ribbon-cutting was performed by our Chairman of the Board, Mr. Müfit Eren, and Vice Chairman of the Board, Mr. Edip Eren, alongside the Governor of Çanakkale, Assoc. Dr. Ömer Toraman, and the President of the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA), Mr. Mustafa Yılmaz.
We take immense pride in contributing to our nation's renewable energy objectives through the Gülpınar WPP project. This facility, comprising 39 wind turbines, is projected to generate 630 million kWh of energy annually, thereby fulfilling the equivalent of 263,000 households' annual energy consumption.
