NEW PROJECT FROM YILDIZLAR CONSTRUCTION

Yıldızlar İnşaat ve Ticaret A.Ş. has undertaken a new work from Ministry of Public Works General Directorate of Construction. The Contract of the Project for the prefabricated construction of a student hostel for 300 students in Bingöl was signed on 8 October 2010 and the duration of the work is 45 days. |

YILDIZ TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY DAVUTPAŞA CAMPUS STUDENT DORMITORY HAS BEEN COMPLETED AND PUT INTO SERVICE.

Yıldız Technical University Student Dormitory with the capacity of 1000 persons which had been started for construction on 25.08.2009 was completed around 15 months prior to 03.11.2011, the completion date of the work in accordance with the relevant Contract, and was put into service for students as of the end of 2010. |

SECOND VISIT BY A MINISTER AT OUR İSTANBUL DAVUTPAŞA CONSTRUCTION SITE

İstanbul Yıldız Technical University Davutpaşa Campus 1000 Persons – Student Dormitory Construction Site was visited by our State Minister Mr. Faruk Nafiz ÖZAK on 23 July 2010. At our Construction Site, which has been visited for the second time at ministers level after Minister of Public Works and Settlement Mr. Mustafa DEMİR ‘s visit, our Minister Mr. Faruk Nafiz ÖZAK carried out inspections on- site and celebrated the workers at the Construction Site for their outstanding efforts. |

OUR MINISTER OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SETTLEMENT VISITED OUR İSTANBUL DAVUTPAŞA CONSTRUCTION SITE.

Construction Site of İstanbul Yıldız Technical University Davutpaşa Campus 1000 Persons – Student Dormitory of which the relevant Contract had been signed on 25.08.2009 was visited by our Minister of Public Works and Settlement Mr. Mustafa DEMİR on 03.04.2010.
Our Honorable Minister examined the Construction Site which had been set forth to be completed on 03.11.2011according to the Contract signed but was planned to be completed in June 2010 upon our Ministry ‘s request afterwards and expressed that they have given great importance to quality and speed for ongoing works within the new term, they shall make evaluations accordingly while selecting company and technical personnel, and he celebrated our company ‘s personnel for their successful performance.

MANAGEMENT REVISION MEETING

The 9th Management Revision Meeting in which the activities of companies within YILDIZLAR GROUP were evaluated for the year 2009 and targets for the year 2010 were discussed was held in Abant Taksim International Hotel in 22 – 23 May.
Yıldızlar Group Chairman of the Board and Members of the Board, General Director, Deputy General Director, Unit Supervisors, Construction Site Chiefs and relevant personnel attended the meeting.

OUR NEW PROJECT STARTED...

Our Company has been awarded the works for HOSPITAL BUILDING WITH 50 BED CAPACITY FOR AĞRI MILITARY HOSPITAL HEAD PHYSICIAN and 12th MECHANIZED INFANTRY BRIGADE COMMAND SETTLEMENT NECESSITIES CONSTRUCTION which were put in tender by Ministry of National Defense, Department of Construction, Property and NATO Security Investments. The construction of our new project with the value of totally 28.540.000,00 TL was started upon site delivery on 29.04.2010. Turkish Armed Forces’ confidence toward our Company strengthens increasingly in each project. |

PARTICIPATION TO TOÇEV LONG LIVE OUR SCHOOL CAMPAIGN

YILDIZLAR GROUP; which had participated to the TOÇEV’s Campaign; ” Long Live our School” in 2005 and restored Ali Gaffur OKKAN Primary School in Terziyan, Diyarbakır, also renewed the Primary School located in Ormandışı Village, Silvan District in Diyarbakır within the scope of the same campaign for the purpose of contributing to the establishment of our modern education, and presented the Ormandışı Yıldızlar Primary School, with its new name, to our students’ utilization on 13 September 2008.
Silvan District Governor, District National Education Director , TOÇEV Show TV authorities and citizens attended the Opening Ceremony of Ormandışı Yıldızlar Primary School which has been repaired within the scope of this Campaign; also carried on by Show TV’s supports. Our Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director Mr. Edip EREN made a speech on behalf of YILDIZLAR Companies Group and gave some presents to students including school bag, note book and pencils primarily.

KULP IV HYDROELECTRIC POWER PLANT HAS BEEN COMMISSIONED

KULP IV Hydroelectric Power Plant which was one of the two hydroelectric power plants and which were begun to be constructed in early 2007 over DİYARBAKIR Kulp Creek was completed and put into service on 13 January 2010, thus electricity production was made available.
KULP IV Hydroelectric Power Plant, having a total rated power of 12.680 kw, is planned to produce a total of 36.000.000 Kw/h electric power annually.

YILDIZLAR GROUP BOWLING TOURNAMENT

A Bowling Tournament was held on 12 February Friday in Bilkent Roll House, with the attendance of YILDIZLAR GROUP managers and employees. The Energy Technique Unit ranked number one and was presented a cup in the mentioned tournament which witnessed colorful scenes, fun and tough struggle.
